Petra Smolíková

Since her coming to the Ministry of Culture in 1998 she had been engaged in legislation, also had been working as a director of the Legal Department and then as a deputy minister. Presently she has been working as a Senior director of the Section A which includes Legislative and Legal Department, Media and Audiovision Department, Copyright Law Department and Separate Division for EU. She is a member of the Committee for the European Union and a deputy chairman of the National co-ordinating group for the digital broadcast. It is an operational body of the Government for the co-ordination of the transformation of the TV analogue transmission into the digital transmission. Within the presidency of the Czech Republic in the Council of the European Union she acts as a chairman of the working party on intelectual property (Copyright).
