| European Festivals Association launches FestLab for Creativity and Innovation ?It is a key mission of EFA, the representative network for festivals in Europe, to support festivals in their ambition to join forces, enter into new collaboration and foster artistic creativity and creation.? At the occasion of the European Year of Creativity and Innovation, the European Festivals Association (EFA) launches the FestLab for Creativity and Innovation. The FestLab invites arts festivals worldwide to join forces and demonstrate the important role that culture, arts, artists and festivals play in creating a fruitful ground for the development of innovative and creative talents and competences. In the framework of the ?Forum for Creative Europe? the FestLab is officially launched in collaboration with European Commissioner Mr Ján Figel': 25 arts festivals will receive the FestLabPass that commits festivals to act as laboratories of creativity, to support young artists, foster the creation of original works, develop new forms of partnerships and share their most innovative projects featured on the FestLab-webpage at www.efa-aef.eu.
